About Alexandra

A native Swede, Alexandra Lovisa Andersen has trained as an actor and singer for over a decade at prestigious institutions in both Scandinavia and the United States. With a Master of Opera from the Manhattan School of Music (2023), and training at the Stella Adler Studios of LA and NYC, she strives to marry stage and the screen in her work.

Neither a singing actress nor an actress singer, she is both in equal measure, as displayed in her recent work with the Shakespeare Opera Company (Romeo&Juliet, 2025) where Shakespeare’s play met the Gonoud opera.

As a singer, she has performed in over a dozen operas, notable roles including Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro (2022), Niklausse in Le contes d’Hoffman (2021), Dorabella in Cosí fan tutte (2021), Jean Vicomte de Morcef in Le Portrait du Manon (2023), and Flora Bervoix in La Traviata (2024)

As an actress, she recently made her film festival debut with the role of Astrid in the short film One of The Girls (2025), and has done many roles in both short film and TV-productions, including Law&Order SVU. On stage she has performed supporting roles in no less than four Shakespeare plays.

Alexandra has her roots in classical ballet, and has developed her talent for movement into a passion for stage-combat and action.
